Positive Behavior Support Training

Any behavior that put an individual, or those around them, at risk is considered “challenging” and can lead to a poor quality of life.  Aggression, self-harm, disruption, destruction, elopement, and inappropriate sexual acts are all examples of challenging behaviors.
Positive Behavior Supports is a strategic system used to increase quality of life and decrease challenging behaviors by teaching new skills and implementing environmental changes.  Take Aim offers assessment and training on research based positive behavior support strategies to families and direct support persons to assist individuals with challenging behaviors.
